Is the fish and chips a Friday special? Or can this had any day?

Hi, at the moment just on a Friday - reservations required.

Single (small) all day breakfast with everything at 25tl which I'm not sure how it could be done at that price!! Must try but rarely hungry am!

Which "brand" of cod is it please and do you batter it yourself? Thanks.

It is frozen at sea and imported - then sold on to us via wholesalers in TRNC, yes we use our own beer batter.

Sophie, 'Red Lion Pub' do make a financial contribution to this forum, more than most, so have a justifiable right to advertise their business to try and resurrect some profitability/trade after the devastation of the virus. Fixed overheads stay the same whether open or closed and at least this outlet is trying something positive rather than the usual TRNC practice of doubling the price of everything because of "No Business, No Money"!!

And this post looks more like more negativity from Sophie

Why do you have to try and upset the apple cart and pass your negativity to the forum.

What harm is it to you if a person who subscribes to the forum advertises, a forum without advertisements would be a very strange place as I'm sure all we might see is negativity from similar people.
You can just scroll past and keep your bitter comments to yourself if they are not constructive, oh and of course before I start to sound like you, this is just my opinion from observing peoples comments.
Live n let live for god's sake, it's hard enough to do business here as it is without vicious negativity.
It's very easy indeed for you to ignore any post, especially red lion posts as they seem to aggravate you in a peculiar way , so instead of leaving your venom on red lion posts just do yourself a favour and move to another post:x)) Again just my observations and opinion.

Due to popular demand our Cod & Chips is now available everyday for both eat in and takeaway.

Im not a fish n chips man,never have been and never will,but i gotta tell you the cod n chips and home made tartar sauce your chef gave me yesterday was very good indeed,not that I'm a chip connoisseur but his chips where very nice indeed.Fish was very nice.

Was it a sample for me or did i just rush off out and forget to pay ! Hectic days Fridays for me!
