wolf spider

Hi all,

Finally trapped this chap or chapess in the loo after a good hours struggle, me not it.
Unharmed but need to know whether to release in the wild or building.

Any ideas?
Its a big buxxer.

A quick check on Google says they are ground hunters pouncing on their prey and are often found in gardens or burrows as they don't spin webs.

Thanks for the info.
After a photo shoot he/she will be deposited on the open ground, i dont see the need for quarantine as its a local!! (:())

You are blessed Des, I live in hope that one day I will find one in our place. Have come across a juvenile tarantula once while walking dogs but didn't have much time to make friends.

Had a wolf spider in the pool a few weeks ago. Hubby scooped it out and sent it off over the garden wall to open land. It was big but not huge like one we saw in Turkey one time..... that WAS huge! đŸ•·
