Some friends of ours who live south of the green line want to visit the north. hey know they need to have a test down before they can cross over, but if they want to stay in the north for longer than 72 hours after their test, they will need to have another test done before they cross back.

I have heard that test in the north cost TL300 which is OK, but WHERE can you get a test done?
And do you have to make an appointment in advance?

Hope they have RoC passports

They have UK Passports, but have residency in the south since 2016) , and will bring the relevant paperwork with them.

As far as I'm aware from everything I've read today-Turkish Cypriots and Greek Cypriots will be allowed to cross.

UK passport holders can't cross unless they are born in Cyprus. It doesn't matter if they have residency in the RoC they will still not be allowed to cross in either direction.

All nationals, including TRNC citizens, will be allowed to cross into the north from the south without having to enter quarantine on the condition they can provide proof that they have not left the Greek Cypriot administration in the last 14 days and that they present a negative PCR test carried out in the last 72 hours.

Individuals who have travelled outside the Greek Cypriot administration in the last 14 days and who wish to cross into the TRNC will be subject to the conditions and regulations in place for the country of their arrival.

Passengers arriving from countries in category A are required to present a negative coronavirus test certificate not older than 72 hours.

Both my daughters were born in Cyprus but in the SBA, wonder what they would do with them? Whenever they have visited via Larnaca from the UK they are always told - welcome back home!
