Does any one have a painter that they can recommend who might not be so hungry or greedy, 1100 pounds labour for 1 normal size lounge and adjoined dining room and tiny slim utility room for me is quite rich, and no ceilings painted. And me buying all meteriels

The prixx must of thought i came over on the same banana boat as them (Oo) (Oo)

Can you imagine , hoping i would agree to the equivlent of 3 months salary for a merit hotel waitress to paint 2 rooms and a narrow utility room. (>:)( (>:)(

Give us a clue regarding your location. I have been very satisfied with Orhan who lives in Lapta.

I have had same problems, stuck in UK at moment and have what I can only describe as hideous quotes for outside painting, I know not where and how they come up with these prices . perhaps you could point me in direction of your guy, via forum or deesbistro@aol.com Regards

We just had our villa painted inside and out, with any plaster work being fixed beforehand. I had been watching Mahmut Painting for quite a while to see the quality of their work and also had the pleasure of meeting Mahmut coincidently about something else.
Really nice guy who speaks perfect English. He works with his 3 brothers and they have such a good system going they painted the outside of a 3 bed villa, 3 coats, repairs as well in 2.5 days. Inside with 2 coats and plaster repairs, we also have cathedral ceilings with beams so a lot of cutting in. 7 doors as well. That was also done in 2.5 days

Glad you found someone honest to do your work. Sadly there does appear to be a proportion of workmen who feel that foreigners should be "punished" for the Covid-19.

Hard facts would be good.

Can't name names, you know that. Very satisfied with my guys and have been for 6 years now, but as I go around and meet friends, there really are some horror stories.

Very satisfied with this painter and decorater
Real p and d is hard to find.

There's no Ahmed or Ali or guner who can paint like a good ole British trained painter and decorater. And in fact there isn't even good brushes here. Gotta bring them from the uk.

Anyway good luck all you who are happy.
