Does anyone know what the quarantine is for Turkish Cypriots returning to TRNC from Turkey via the ferry?

Neg PCR certificate 72hours before travel.
Then a test on arrival, isolation at home until results of test.

Thanks for that. We were told there's an extra test you can have prior to travel which meant that self isolation at home wasn't necessary. Sounds like we've been misled! Hope we haven't been put at risk because this person has been round our house within 6hrs of coming off the ferry.

Self isolation until the result of the PCR test taken at the point of entry.
This person has put you all at risk.
You are obliged to report them immediately to the police. It is your DUTY.

You now are at risk and should be tested for your own personal safety.

Just playing Devils Advocate here, but as rules and regulations seems to change almost every other day, perhaps your neighbour genuinely thought he was right. Hope you are all OK.

Sorry I spoke. but I will say, people seem to be given conflicting information every time they open a newspaper, read something on an Epaper etc. Its a minefield, and glad I don't have to try and work my way through the maze.

Regardless of what the regulations say, anyone coming to the TRNC from anywhere is potentially covid-19 positive, even with a negative test. Hence the need to retest. Your visitor is bang out of order, and has created problems for you.

The last time someone went walkabout in
Lapta , alsancak/Lapta/Karsiyaka where put into isolation during the lockdown. Police at all entrances in or out.

The guy that has done a runner from The Colony, wasn't even prepared to live in luxury, so that's two the police are on the look out for but at least we have a name and photo of him.

They obviously know them and their location.
