All of the ATMs that dispense GBP will charge, Revolut will not charge as long as you stay below the monthly limit.
TEB, Garanti are two of the ones that will let you have GBP.
Bear in mind that you can get £200 worth of TL per 'rolling month' without charge from either side (2% charge by Revolut thereafter) - exchange GBP to TL on your app to get the best rate, and just withdraw your cash as TL from an ATM - you'll win all ways!
Note: withdrawal fee revised to 2% thanks to information from Goldwingalan

TEB charge 5% - beware! This on Nationwide Debit cards - used to be no charge, then went to 2.5% which was ok - but then they got greedy! Now they make nothing at all as I won't use them anymore - lol. Their loss, my gain, as have opened an account with Turk Bank as well instead of TEB.

Using the u.k's on line bank Starling at a Turk atm incurs no charge. Tried to get a Revolut card to pay for residency but like the Starling card is not issued to people with a Turkish address. Ended up getting the Turk bank prepaid card yesterday, was told that it was active but it did not work. Will give it 24 hrs as some post say is necessary.

Just a wee update on Ziraat ATM for taking out TL with Revolut. The wording when you use the ATM seems to have changed and mentions something about dynamic conversion. I was desperate for a little bit of cash so just took out 500 TL , but happy to report no charges were made. I did have TL in my Revolut account, so no clue if that makes any difference.
I will pay more attention on next use of that ATM as to the wording and procedure, was too hot and bothered at the time.
Thornaby, I still haven't got a Turk bank pre-paid card, but intend to get one before next year's residency, unless health insurance payments change. I have read that it does take 24 hours before use online. I think it was on this board by the Turk Bank representative.

I had the same problem the first time that I used a Ziraat Bank ATM, plus the sun was on the screen, the screen itself was faded, excuses excuses...
The clear advice that I was given afterwards by Erol was "Do NOT opt for 'Dynamic Conversion' because if you do, the ATM owner will convert the TL that you are withdrawing to GBP or something else, at
their rate which will be unfavourable (to you!) compared to rate that Revolut would use".
I found that Iktisat Bank ATMs just do a straight transaction, and don't attempt to use Dynamic Conversion - and the bonus is that there's one quite near my home!
We did have a bit of a natter on the subject

Alphamike, went back to the bank, spoke to the girl on the helpline, went back home tried again now working OK, really unsure what the problem was but it probably was just a 24 hour wait to get things working

Yes thanks KC, remember that thread. Unfortunately there's not a lot of choice of ATM's out in the wilds of Tatlisu, the Ziraat ATM is the only one I know of, there are others in Esentepe. At least it didn't charge me, which was the main thing.
Thornaby, glad that you've got the card working. Good to know.
