We have been invited to a wedding of a Cypriot man and his lovely Turkish wife to be.
Later told that the brides parents and close family are attending from Turkey.
Arriving at Ercan late on the 7th ,staying at grooms extended family homes. Wedding on the 9th. MMM?
Do we attend?

Your decision weighing up the risks.
Personally I would go just for a free p*ss-up but why people get married in the first place is still an enigma to me!!!!

Not if you've any sense!
Youve been going on and on, complaining about the Gov't letting potential covid-19 sufferers into the Country, and now you are asking whether you should mingle with them?
Get a grip!

Some might consider that this would disqualify you from giving advice!

I was trying to be informative to what is actually happening around us, and pedantic at the same time.
Sorry I am not up to your high IQ level.

What free P++s up
The last 3 weddings I've been to i thought i was back at school waiting in line for lunch and then gave the bride an envelope and off we toddled.
No Alcohol or bar, there may of been a few mouldy sweets for free at the most.

Probably why I never get invited to weddings, not knowing the protocol! Their miss-out on small enamel original painting as a present!

Yeah a couple of times, although it was a bit more “look in and piss off“
