a1sysman, beat me to it. I don't clock on to Reuters Uk very often, but that report came in loud and clear this morning.

I suspect that the power to 'open up' Varosha may be outside of the PM's area of competency - no matter what he says to the faithful...

As his own countrymen call him Nik the Liar, I have no real reason to believe him when he states that talks can only start again if Varosha is left alone, seems he has forgotten Crans Mon and exactly why the talks ended last time.

Would be nice to wander along the beach that I last visited in 1972 and I wish them luck and good fortune. It is only Greek political greed that keeps the two countries apart, if only the people would see it for themselves and do a Berlin on the situation the politicians would stop their preening and pontificating and work for all the people instead - wishful thinking I am sorry to say.

If the people of Belarus can revolt, then surely down South can as well. Despite Lukashenko stating " Until you kill me, there will be no other elections"
