Subject - Change of Car Ownership. I understand that new rules require both seller and buyer to visit the tax office together.

Q1. I know that there is a ticket system for the Girne tax office - but are there different tickets for those wishing to tax their cars, and those wishing to carry out other transactions such as Change of Ownership, or Driving Licence application/collection?

Q2. Are you still able to go to Lefkosa to complete the changeover? I ask because I hear that the Girne office is incredibly busy.

Q2 No idea.

You can complete the transfer form at a noter with both present, seller pays , then the buyer changes the ownership to themselves ,they pay.
