Start on Manolya Sokak and follow the track until you reach a new section of road which will take you down to the aptly named Yamaç Sokak (Hillside Street ;) ), and then on a tarmac surface back around to where you started.

Sea wise, there's nothing near you that's not used by either humans or turtles - and dogs are not allowed on sea-side areas during the Summer anyway.

Please, stay off the tarmac after 08:00 until at least 18:00! Think of the dogs feet and check the heat with your own bare foot, if it’s too hot for you then it’s too hot for the dogs! I am sure you know this already but it is useful to remind new dog walkers. Have fun and take water.

Thanks for warning people again Waddo, very timely. My five don't have any walks or exercise on tarmac until about 7ish in the evening. Other friends walk theirs same time but in the morning. The bare foot test shocks a lot of people.

You can actually buy doggy shoes these days to avoid burnt paws during the summer months. My friend has some out here. His dogs hate them mind, but that is besides the point.

:)

Whatever next?

Most people who walk dogs regularly soon cotton on to the idea of getting up early and walking the dogs before it gets too warm - I didn't think to mention it, so thanks to waddo and sophie for pointing it out (and to Trigger for the doggy shoes info!).

Doggy umbrellas? My dog used to hate the rain.
