Looking for recommendations on where to buy an iphone 11 (new) in either
Girne, Famagusta or Nicosia.
I have checked out the phone shops on the one way street in Girne but no joy.
Thanks.

Did you try any of the Turkcell shops?
With it being a new model, I don't think that you'll find much competition, price-wise, and for warranty and aftersales continuity, you might be better buying from Turkcell anyway...
They do have a choice of a 3 year contract, or buying it outright: -

I haven't tried myself to buy a phone from KKTCell, but a good friend tried to get one on contract and couldn't, despite being a customer for over 10 years, and, unlike me before you could pay bills online, always paying bills on time. Although it wasn't said directly, it seemed as if they weren't willing to do contract phones to expats, and could only buy upfront. I don't know if this is policy or not, or whether my friend was just unlucky with them.

Thanks. I will check out Sharafstore and kktcell next week. Just been told of another store
in Nicosia not far from Sharafstore, Macline.

Totally true. The same for Telsim/Vodafone. New policy.
Maybe too many foreigners leaving the island with an expensive phone? Not Brits of course! Only the other foreigners.

Thanks Butterflyaway, perhaps the reason was as you say, so you can't blame them for that if they have been stung.
Geordie, Sharafstore deliver to your door if you so wish, and you pay on delivery. Great communications too, I dealt with them through WhatsApp, and can't fault them, would definitely use them again. Phone I wanted wasn't in stock, but true to their word, as soon as it was, they called me to let me know. Their POS machine wasn't working on the day of delivery, so they called to let me know, giving me time to go and get more cash.

iPhone 12 is due out very soon (-ish). Supposed to have been about this time of year but it’s been postponed until ?
Just saying, like!
