Covid hotels
With the special offers on at the moment for people living in north Cyprus . (Hotel stay/full board/all inclusive etc )Does anyone know if these special offer hotels have covid /isolation /quarantine guests in them. Would, there be a risk if there was. Any thoughts.

Just as a suggestion so you get accurate and current information to your query. Why not contact the TRNC Government Department for a list of the hotels being used for quarantine now, and possibly in the immediate future. Once you have the list, you'll know what hotels to avoid, plus you could then ring those hotels not on the list, but which you are considering using, to confirm they are not guesting quarantined personnel. Enjoy your stay wherever it is.

Ok . Thank you. Can see that being difficult as unfortunately I cannot speak Turkish.
However .. the hotel I was wanting to use which was the merit has just posted that they are now closed.
Many thanks.

Re: Covid hotels
There is one city centre 5 star hotel that until the last few days had roughly 25% ordinary occupancy When the guests moved out over the last few days, they were going to close down again (as they did at the start of the pandemic here) , however they have been asked to stay open as a quarantine hotel, so some people are going to be living very well for their seven days.

Pity that they won't be allowed to use the pool on the roof!

Probably as well, some of them might try climbing down the outside drainpipes to escape.
