If you have an issue with the content of a post, use the 'Report Post' function to draw a moderator's attention to the post.

DO NOT simply post repetitive complaints on the forum itself - moderators do not read, or even attempt to read every single post on the forum, so your complaint is quite likely to go unanswered.

So, if a post appears to break one of the forum rules, use the 'report post' function.

If the post does not break the rules of the forum, leave it alone!

I often offer advice to people who don't know how to use the forum facilities correctly - even sarcastic ones

There are over 40+ active topics on just the first page of the forum. Of these topics there are possibly 2 or 3 that are generating a lot of posts by 2 or 3 forum members.

Of course some may object to their debating on the forum and may not agree with what they write or even the amount they write. Others may find it amusing, informative or even interesting.

The options are to scroll past or even block posts written by certain members so you don’t see them.

Moderators will try and let a topic run providing it doesn’t break forum rules. Many of us are guilty of going slightly “off topic” and again this may be left for a while before a post is locked.

Debate is healthy and for some certainly helps pass the time. However; if moderators receive a report of forum rules being broken then we will certainly investigate further.

Maybe open a new section of the board for pointless, meaningless, attention seeking essays so the rest of us can get on with helping & informing each other.

Seems like you got appointed sole arbiter of what is pointless, meaningless and attention seeking for the rest of us without me noticing ?

Would you like me to go through your post history and apply my judgement on what I think might have been pointless, meaningless or attention seeking and post the results? If not then maybe you should consider your keenness to do such to others ?
