AN APPEAL TO MULTIMAX

I am not a keen television watcher (and as a pensioner struggling with the increased cost of living here ) I cant spend money or resources - including brain cells struggling with technology!- on accessing something I normally only use a few hours a month, and lot of stations which carry little to my taste.
Nor, after l6 years in North Cyprus , do I I often indulge in nostalgia for the UK. However it is only natural to retain affection for the country one was born and brought up, and I really appreciated Multimax complimentary access to BBC 1, which carries some of the best of our traditional ceremonies - I am thinking of things like the Proms, Trooping of the Colour, the Service of Remembrance at the Cenotaph, and this year in particular the Jubilee and the Olympics.
I was sorry therefore when I accessed their link on the post below to note (if I understood it correctly, which I am not sure about)that they will eventually be discontinuing free provision of BBC 1. Could I please appeal to them as a gesture to British expats to retain BBC 1 on their complimentary list for the benefit of those of us who like just an occasional taste of our native land. At least please dont delete it for the next few days as I am really looking forward to the Service of Nine Lesssons and Carols from Kings College Cambridge, where used to live (Cambridge that is , not Kings College!)
I am putting this on the Board rather than sending an email in the (admittedly slightly forlorn) hope that others may share my tastes ,
PS I am a Multimax customer.
PPS After BBC1 my vote goes for ITV 3, which has repeats of some of the best series from the Golden Age of British TV.
