When to plant

I had some success growing some things I miss last year but pretty sure I got some of the timings wrong as I think spring became summer then it just got too hot.

So does anyone know what is the best time to plant the following:-

Beans
Lettuce
Cabbages
Broccoli

I know they are all plentiful in the shops but I grow different varieties you cannot get here.

TIA

The word for October is also used to mean 'Planting' ;) which from watching my TC neighbours seems to be around the time of the first rain...

I'm not sure whether it applies to all sorts of veg, but it's probably worth a go!

Dippersgirl probably has as much experience as anyone,

Edited thanks to kedikat2903!

October / Ekim means planting but I guess September is ok too. Might be too hot though at the moment

They haven't got the Archers here to remind them!!!! ($$) ($$) ($$)
People here slowly are getting the ground cleared of the summer veg, they wait for the first rain and then when the ground is not too soggy, they plough and harrow, that's for big bots of land. My neighbour planted some beans, lettuce and sweetcorn(second round) about 3 weeks ago and its growing nicely. If you can grow where the sun is a bit more moderate and you have plenty of water you can certainly start now. It's just more work.
