Our move is imminent :+1:)
Does anyone have a recommendation for who to use to insure our boxes etc. coming over to TRNC with KMR (they can only provide total loss cover)?
Many thanks in advance.

If you wish to insure "Total Loss" is the one to go for. to cover "All risks" is expensive and unnecessary. We Have just moved with KMR and had two bits of broken glass, to have insured would have been £2000 and the glass is a few pounds to replace.

KMR are brilliant so don’t spend money on full insurance unnecessarily.

You say boxes - is that just a few or is it a 40 foot container.
Are the items valuable, is it all your worldly possessions.
Can you afford to lose those items and be able to replace them.

Think of it this way, your items are collected on a lorry and taken away. What happens if the lorry with your possessions gets stolen, is involved in an accident and catches fire. Then if that doesn’t happen what happens when loaded onto ferry, ferry has accident and sinks.

If you can afford the loss don’t bother with insurance. if losing your possessions will cause you financial problems insure.

Try AXA they do relocation insurance, but not sure if it’s what you are looking for, but worth a try for comparison
