Just in case anyone else likes to make their own pasta or pizza, double 00 flour is now in North Cyprus..... yay! I have previously only been able to get it from the south, but thankfully, it is now here in the supermarkets.

Brand and specific supermarket please.... to reduce carbon-footprint of the search and reduce number of Covid contact opportunities.

The brand is Tellioglu. It is a white packet, with a sketch of a pizza on the front. There are 3 or 4 different types of flour under the same brand. I found it in Sah and in Erdener. In Erdener it was on the far right of the top shelf of the flour section. I have not been in all the supermarkets but often find that once one has something, they all have it.

If you look for soke flour look for the one with 13.2 % protein. This is as strong and the same as 00.

Oh that’s interesting Karmels. I will look for that when I try to find 00 flour again, although I have stocked up lol I even asked a couple of years ago at the delicatessen and bakery in alsancak, and he said you could not get double 00 in the North.

Sorry l forgot to mention that there are two soke flours with 13.2 one is a plain white flour the other is a full corn flour semi brown.

Lemar Famagusta has 00 flour, for those in the area they may want to buy.
