Can anyone recommend a good place for afternoon tea. Preferably central Girne or to the east.

About 2,000 odd miles west and a little bit north, is the best Afternoon Tea in the world. Fortnum & Mason.
For those Yorkshirites, Harrogate has Betty's.

Went to Lords last year and very disappointed. Ads in the paper made it look like at typical F and M tea, but it wasn't anywhere near it. Butterflyaway, I prefer The Ritz to F and M, but whatever, we're never going to find it here and I suspect Meryems is going to be the nearest equivalent.

Have now booked for the Food Lodge. At least it is in aid of a good cause.
