Amazon Prime Video has discovered my VPN (StreamVia) and won't let me watch anything. Is there anything I can do please?

I suggest you contact streamvia. They will sort it.

As Keith says use the Smart DNS part instead of the VPN. I use it on the Smart TV, Firestick and laptop and it has never failed me yet. Or if it has it is because I have done something stupid and they have fixed it for me very quickly once I contacted them. Their on line help is one of if not the best I have ever come across.

I've setup the smart DNS and unfortunately it still doesn't let me watch as it's "not available due to geographical licensing restrictions". Is it likely that Streamvia will sort this out?

Ignore my previous message. Just clicked on it again and it's now working! Thanks all for your advice.

Just a "p.s." - and something that you may well have worked out already - you do need to turn off the VPN if you're using the 'smart dns' thingy
