Good Morning Royal-spor! Wish I was there - dull and wet in London!

Aye it's starting to heat up now, but still a bit cool at night. Not very good weather in the UK though.

Wish I was there too 50-60mph gales on south coast Nr Breezy Brighton

This is why i moved over here 7 years ago.

Wish I was there too Soner, it's been blowing a gale up here in Glasgow for days now and constant rain rain and more rain. On a brighter note tho, the sun is shining at the moment, but still windy.

Can't wait until our 2 week visit on 19th May - role on canny wait

Mozgor, same in London , rained all day yesterday....but don't mind the rain in April, best get it all out of the way and then have a nice hot summer - wishful thinking.

Oh dear, what can I say to cheer you up. Maybe better not tell you i had a delightful lunch outdoors by a friend's pool in a house that overlooks the sea. The sun was glorious 22 degrees today, but felt more like 32, beautiful blue skies and no wind. No, I won't tell you that, cos it might make you feel even worse. So, i equally won't tell you tomorrow if it is another day of non stop , 'boring'; sunshine and bue skies, cos that might make you feel bad too.
Or might it make you rush to buy your air ticket to come join us. That is allowed, PROVIDED you don't bring the British or Scottish weather with you.

And lots of hot water, free, heated by the solar panels and gravity fed, so no need for a pump. Down go my electric bills.

NO. Don't need it, got furry slippers, a nice cosy gas fire, and a big squishy cypriot husband, who is always HOT

Yeah right, furry slipper, cosy gas fire.....roll on winter - I will start a thread headed "Oh I'm so cosy and warm in my centrally heated home, yet another lovely day in frosty London".

Yes, but Cyprus winter only lasts for 3/4months, temperatures NEVER drop below freezing, WE don't have snowdrifts, blizzards etc etc etc, and you can't sit in your centrally heated house all through the winter, can you? you have to go out in it sometimes, don't you?

The biggest mistake I made was not putting in central heating in the bangalow I had built in Cyprus. I've never felt that cold in years - the nights are cold, so cold that I want to go back to my london home for some lovely central heating. An, no, I don't have to go out as I have been working from home for the last 7 years - so every winter I stay in for upto 7 months of the years. My wife goes out to do the shopping etc... so there.
