Dehli Rape

The poor girl has now died, after four operations. I dread to think what they did to her. How should they be punished? Some people are calling for the death penalty, much too good for them. My punishment would involve a very blunt knife and no anaesthetic, after vigorous use of a nutcracker. Human rights? They cannot be human.
My heart bleeds for her family.

The absolutely best that can ever happen is the for whole mindset of males towards females on the Indian sub-continent be changed. Women are considered as chattels to be used and abused. It is a culture that has existed for hundreds of years and this death may be just what is needed to start a change. The same thing happens in South Africa and its only a matter of time before someone is brutally killed, if it hasn't already happened but not reported.

Terrible incident, but let's tar the whole of the male Indian sub-continent with the same brush. Unfortunately, women are treated abysmally in some parts of Pakistan and in other very conservative (Islamic) regions But in India, the women are often not to be seen living in the shadows of their husbands – indeed
Kibkomers might like to read this rather amusing BBC article on life in Meghalaya, an Indian state to the north of Bangladesh - By the way, I heard the audio of this the other day when listening to
