Hi, we have our residency appointment Monday and need the 4TL stamps for the Muhtar's letter. Where in Karsiyaka, or nearby, can we buy these? We need them before the appointment as we uploaded copies without stamps, so want to have new digital copies available to upload if those are not accepted. Thanks in advance :+1:)

They sell them in the cafe near the Polis / Immigration entrance.

You don't need to buy stamps because the Muhtar's letter should have the stamps already on it with his official stamp across it.

I know what should happen but in our experience it rarely happens, so have bought stamps, stuck them on and then he did his bit. Never charged though, and I know some of them do.

Definitely no stamps on the letter, and it's been the same for all three (one for customs, two for immigration).
Thanks for the info re buying stamps, was able to get some from the co-op in the village (thanks Fred).
Will see what happens tomorrow...
