Going from the Credit West bank roundabout towards Girne, on the left hand bend close to the turn for the Bambini nursery and before the first roundabout - almost hidden until you round the bend - and no warning signs before it (70kpm), as of yesterday.

Having seen it twice now, I'm convinced you are correct paul90. Yesterday they were pulling loads of people in going Alsancak - Girne, this morning they have reversed it but only with a couple of Polis cars, not yesterdays number.

Maybe the clue is the sign next to the new style speed cameras......a graphic of a camera with 24 hr next to it.

Yes they do that when there is a Police road check as well don't they? Very nice and it gives you chance to stop and make sure you still have four mudflaps on the car.

Chris, it’s not for mud flaps, it’s so you can take an alternate route! If you get stopped for mud flaps by one of the newish BMW’s, have a casual walk to the back of them and look for their mud flaps - lol.

I think you will find that the sign which is situated just below the new camera was fitted at the same time as the camera was erected....shame but as we get older we tend not to notice things....Specsavers maybe?

Are there no warnings before the camera then, as is the norm here?
