Am looking to upholster a 3 seater and a 2 seater setttee, any recommendations for a top quality tradesman capable of doing this preferably westside of Girne ??

Not quite to the upholstery standard of tradesmen we have been fortunate to use previously in the UK. However, this is Cyprus... Just trying to manage your expectations.

Thanks a1sysman. I have to choose between buying new and having the existing settees reupholstered ....new up in the price range of 15000 to 20000 tl range for similar quality or refubishing the existing !!

Costs nothing to go survey any WIP at the business. If satisfied with the standard you see, all good. If, not... there are other upholsterers dotted about.

My experience here is tradesmen are only as good as their last job. No guarantee you get the same standard of work performed on your project, so be prepared to reject anything not up to the standard you are expecting - whoever you choose.

And don't pay up front!

Hi. Had a superb job done by the guy opposite Capital Bank in Alsancak. 3 seater and 2 seater reclining suite. 4000TL.
Better than new now.

One problem with the bloke opposite Capital bank, three years ago he was working on a friends easy chairs and he left them outside at night and only covered them with some plastic sheeting. It poured down during the night and the plastic wasn't a lot of good. It might be a totally different chap now though of course.
