So are all bars and restaurants between Alsancak and Karsiyaka closed or not?
And if so is it just for today? (Sunday)
Clear as mud.

My understanding from reading it is that they are closed until the 25th when they will review it. Who can tell with the poor translation that is often given?

So three possible interpretations so far;
Closed for now pending a decision tomorrow
Open until tomorrow
Nothings changed but may/may not change tomorrow
Clear as mud!

Already some on a FB group are asking if the places are closed does that mean they cannot travel elsewhere to eat? Well the rules don't say you can't but if the problem is bigger in your area why would you think it is safe for you to travel elsewhere and risk infecting others?

Although this link is the same, there are extras which should make it clear. It’s a link from another forum. A one off.

People have died and been buried on this Island for thousands of years, none of them have ever come back up again, what is the problem with having a burial ground next to your villa? Would you know or care if your villa was actually built on an old burial ground anyway? Think of the peaceful benefits instead, at least your new neighbors won’t have a noisy dog or suddenly start having noisy parties and disco music till the early hours! Of course if you spot one of them taking a quick dip in your pool, let me know and I will come up with my stakes and hammer to sort out the problem - lol.

Is Vialla suggesting that folk who have died of Covid should not be buried close to housing? It could be a fair point, but presumably anyone buying a villa knew that there was a cemetery 7 mters away? or is this a new burial ground? Just thoughts.

The government and the health committee are between a rock and a hard place. Unbelievable people have to ask let alone think they should be allowed. No wonder covid is still in communities world wide. Staying put highlights when opened up again whether you are a carrier with no symptoms

It's a bit like when people complain about schools causing them 30 minutes grief a day at opening and closing times re traffic and parking.

Well the school has been there 50-100 years and their house was built 10 years ago and when they bought it 5 years ago they might have noticed that there was an enormous school at the end of the road.

Vialla,
How many covid deaths have there been in Bellapais and how many have been buried next to the villa that you are referring to.
I thought there had only been 12 in the whole of TRNC.

I used to walk about 2 miles to school. There were no parking problems then.
