Anybody know if any of the ATMs on the EAST side that normally have sterling are still working?

Many thanks. Normally do banking/cash withdrawals/money changes around the 21st - all pensions then in UK bank - so not worried, yet! But will get a bit squeaky if lockdown extended again - lol.

I only take tl out of machines now. I used the teb atm across the road from credit west bank just inside the university building. It show aterli g but i didnt try it as i wanted tl. If this helps?

Sorry should have added. Credit west passed Erdener supermarket easy of Girne. Also meant to type it showed sterling but I only wanted tl so didnt try. There are 3 machines teb, halkbank cannot remember the other one.

We had to get some yesterday and tried several ATMs without success before finding the Ziraat bank one next to the GAU was working. Got charged 4% for the privilege.

Sausage and pash, first time I have ever heard of a Credit West ATM offering anything but TL but worth a look. Brazen, thanks, you did well - I normally use TEB and their charge is 5% as standard!

NO I didnt use credit west atm it was the 3 atms across the road from credit west bank.

Thanks again - I never knew there were 3 ATM'S across the other side of the road from Credit West, then again I have only lived here for 13 years so not seen everything yet - lol. Must become more Cypriot and stop paying attention to the traffic I guess.

I was hoping to keep the 3 atms a secret!!! They have only been there about 6 months.

Don't worry, they will probably remain a secret from me for years to come - lol. My chances of taking my eyes off the traffic at that particular location are very small indeed - too interested in seeing just when the students will wander across the road.
