Could this be very problematical for the person concerned. Two people I know are being taken to Pile by taxi, picked up the other side by local taxi and taken to airport. They are going to State hospital in Girne to get jabs to show they are negative. (Not sure how they'll each get two sorted out in the time available). These Certs will be shown at Pile crossing, to BA and airport in UK. They are of the opinion they won't have to go into Hotel quarantine as they live in London and have flown from Cyprus.
They have an added complication. One of the UK passports expires end June and they are concerned because its less than the 6 months required. What are peoples feelings on the above? Personally I wouldn't like to go through it all, but they have been here since last August and want to get back to UK.

I don’t understand what jabs they are having, negative PCR test is required, but that is nose and throat swabs
Jabs are the vaccine but the Uk does not accept these as negative for Covid
They must check the uk gov web site re travel to Uk
They need to complete passenger locator forms and pay for two pcr test kits to be sent to there place of isolation. They will not be allowed to board the flight without these
Hotel quarantine is not required from Cyprus as of today, but could change

The passport isn't an issue it's flying out to other destinations from the UK that is problematic

Currently 33 countries are on the UK red list. This can change daily. You require minimum of 2 negative tests before boarding a flight to any UK destination no matter if your a UK citizen or not.
Three days ago four people from the West Mids were each fined £10k EACH for false information provided to UK authorities.
It’s best to be careful Ten thousand pound is a lot of money!!!

Walesforever, Where did you get info re two tests required before flight?
Uk gov site states only one before travel, but you must order and pay for two test kits to use on days 2 and 8 after arrival

I presume you go into home quarantine for 10 days after arrival, but what do you do with the two test kits when you have done the tests? If you are in quarantine, are you allowed to leave home to post them, if not, how do they get to where they need to be? PB

You are allowed to leave home to post or go straight to a test sight.....

Royal Mail will collect from your home these days for a reasonable charge. Maybe this is included in these tests?
