Girne Tax Office

Could the forum please tell me is the above office open for normal business ie car tax,road tax and various other payments,many thanks.

Yes they are open all day with a 45 min or so break at lunchtime

There today lunch is 12 to 13:15
Lots of people queuing. Go to the guard and state what you need to do, rental tax i was allowed in straight away but when I went to queue to get my health card updated they were allowing 1 in 1 out even though there are several departments in that wing.
My thanks to the lady who asked the guard to take all the cards from quite a few of us and get them updated. I wish he had left the door open so we could of seen the worker's face when he approached them . This task was carried out in 5 minutes where 1 person was taking about 10 minutes

What's a health card? Is it something else I should have applied for?

If you legally work here definitely yes
I use it at the chemist and hospital

We went on Wednesday to renew driving licences and found the numbering system was working well and everybody was social distancing, pleasantly surprised.
