Is the Government a business? Apparently last time they were cut off they just ordered it to be reconnected and carried on!

I can see the flaw.
If/when Kibtek goes skint, which any company which has too many bad debts will, then who will supply the electricity?
Can't see too many people wanting to buy up a company who has to give a large proportion of it's product away for free.

Every few months the same thing theyhave a purge then back to business its only the public that get cut off.An elderly friend was cut off a few weeks ago because she was 50tl over the cut off point of 450tl and that was during lock down when her business was closed.

There is the saying if you owe the bank £1000 you have a problem, if you owe the bank £100 million THEY have the problem.
Trump used to use it very effectively

"Three senior officials at state-run electricity authority KIB-TEK have been dismissed by the Minister of Economy and Energy Erhan Arıklı."

I wonder which other government department they are working in now or are they on full pay 'garden leave'
