Does anyone have an idea how much it costs to replace a rooftop hot water tank (tank and installation)?

I think gunner542 was just asking for replacement tank, not whole system. I had a hot water tank replaced last year for around £130 including fitting.

Sounds about right £130-150

Who does the kuzetmak systems, what are the advantages as a big price difference?

There's a shop that has this system on the main lapta/ alsancak road. Between green garage petrol station and starling supermarket,

Kuzeymak is a brand. The official supplier is next to a petrol station in Karakum. From Lemar Karakum (on right) head towards Catalkoy, Kuzeymak dealer is on the left.
If you google Kuzeymak it should come up.

Comfortable Life Systems, the Lapta / Alsancak shop is a reseller. Sure you will get plenty of information of the benefits of the system there, from a sales perspective of course.

I also noticed the large yapı market adjacent to Tayf (Marshalls), opposite to the Ship Inn, have the system stood outside too. Assuming sold there also.

The Kuzeymak manufacturer shop can be found in Karakum, driving out east from Girne, on the right hand side of the road.

Any pros/cons of the Kuzeymak system?
As someone who lives high up and loses the sun early we do not enjoy solar heated water as much as those by the coast. I have often wondered if this system would be better or if indeed I would be better looking at photo voltaic just for hot water using an immersion heater?

After speaking to a lot of people who do not have instant hot water in the winter other than the Immersion heater which can take a good 7 mins to get hot water to the two upstairs bathrooms, we are today having a Combi Boiler installed. What I like about the system is that it can be totally shut off in the summer when we use hot water via the solar panels. Only slight drawback being that if in the event of a power cut, we have to reset the timer, but that's a small price to pay.

Anyone have a rough idea of price to supply and fit (replace) a decent sized roof located hot water tank and new heater element within also please?
