Hi Guys
I need to get a small parcel( jiffy bad) here urgently any ideas.

Failing finding anyone who is coming across.
Cheapest is Royal Mail Tracked. We got one in 3 weeks. Send it to your local Post Office where they may make you open it in their presence to ensure it is nothing that can be taxed or illegal.
DHL and the like is expensive.
Many people will tell you of the risk that stuff won't arrive but that is a chance you take sending anything in the post anywhere in the World.

You could use Angel Wing Transfers - get it delivered to the South then they bring it over and deliver to you?
I used them for a laptop and it was a good service

We used this method and took 12 days but I did pop in the local post office to warn them. I also put my phone number as part of the address

Has anyone done this out Tatlisu area, and if so, which post office was it sent to? We don't have a PO here, mail goes to the Bele office to be picked up.

KMR logistics are very good, cost is £5 for an envelope delivered to the door, highly reccomended.

Used KMR at Christmas for a 30kg Suitcase.

any problems with customs? Did you have to deliver the suitcase to a place in the UK for KMR to collect?

No problems with Customs, the suitcase had to be delivered to North London

Sorry to be pedantic but the real cost is £30 + whatever it costs to get it to KMR in North London? I would imagine it is fairly expensive to send a 30kg suitcase in the UK?

My daughter posted a large jiffy bag in Torquay via international track and trace yesterday afternoon, cost £14.60 including insurance. I had 2 items sent in October both took between 3 and 4 weeks to get here, 1 week getting out of UK and 1 week in Cyprus. Hoping it'll be quicker this time. They can be tracked all the way to Girne using following websites :

My parcel arrived in north London on 1st April and I was informed yesterday it would be sailing on the 14 th so extremely pleased with the service so far

My parcel arrived in Esentepe today, 16 days after posting, it arrived in Girne on 19th so took 13 days to get on the island. Everything intact, 5TL to pay this end. Fantastic as our printer ink ran out on Tuesday and we now have a new supply.

For information: Phone KMR yesterday for information and was informed that the road service is temporarily halted due problems with EU paperwork - another casualty of Brexit - so everything coming by sea now, next sailing 28th April then 12th May. Very helpful guy and lots of information on what can and can't be sent and maximum size of box that can be sent as well. Best advice is to phone him yourself and get up to date information as things change fast out here but I will be using them in the future.
As for UK Postal - my friend sent me a package yesterday via Royal Mail - 2.215Kg. He used the postal collection service but was still charged for that service although it is supposed to be free till May. The guy who collected the package did not have any "Tracking" labels on his van so he could not send the package tracked. Total cost of postage was £39.97 and insurance only covers the first £50. As this package is not "Tracked" I seriously doubt if I will ever see it arrive here as most "Untracked" items appear to vanish into the dark hole under Girne Main Post Office, never to be seen again, but I live in hope.

My parcel was addressed in this format:

Phone number
The Post Office workers put a note in our PO box and didn't phone but there was an indication on the tracking system that it had been sent to Esentepe.

I know the question was UK to TRNC, but I thought people might be interested to learn the reverse. We posted envelope on 16th April, using TRNC tracking system, a letter which arrived at its destination in UK on 21st. For an extra 25tl, you really can't fault that can you?

Can't fault it at all - probably because it did not go via the Girne customs black hole - lol. "C" my address was the same as come_on_aylin address apart from the PO Box number, the town name and the address name - probably why I never got it yet - lol. Hope the gloves fit however has them.....

I am having a small envelope sent via KMR.
Had to be at their depot by today for tomorrows sailing (done)
Told that it will take 4 weeks, will update results.

The moral of the story is to never give up hope!!! Today the postman at Catalkoy phoned me to say I had a packet waiting for my collection. Rushed down in the hopes it was a parcel that my buddy in UK had posted to me two weeks ago - jar of marmite inside - but sadly it was not.
However, what was waiting for me was a packet containing four pairs of gloves that had been posted from UK on the 18th of February 2021! Could not say where it has been for the last 69 days but it finally made it through the dark hole of Girne Post Office and what is more - the gloves fit - bonus.

KMR logistics delivered my parcel yesterday it took three weeks and cost £10 so extremely happy as it left in November got as far as Heathrow and back thanks to Royal Mail then left in December and got as far as Leipzig befere being returned the left barrow to Enfield and hey presto here it is . Great commas all the way and delivered safely thanks KMR will use you again.

Phone call from KMR yesterday asking for my exact location, Google maps, delivered to my doorstep.
