Can anyone tell me how to resize a photo to use on this forum using an iPad. Thanks

Thanks, but already tried suggestions from that topic and no luck.

I use Photoshrinker app which is a free app and easy to use
Have used it to attach photos to posts on this forum

Using iPad
Send the photo to yourself via email, you then have the choice to resize before sending.
When you receive the photo/photos, save them (hard press).
You then have them saved resized in your photos on your iPad.
Bit long winded, hope it helps.

This may be of help, I've had problems sharing pics on fb & have found if I copy & paste to word I can crop & copy & paste to where I want

Look (and download from) here - as it says, it first (?) appeared in Windows XP, and I've used it for years. Once installed, all you need to do is right-click on the picture file and the resize selection panel appears.
(In fact, I'm sure that it or a similar program existed back in Win 98 or even 3.11......)

I’ve tried a few times and cannot do it either. It is quite fiddly, especially on a phone.

If Using iPad or iPhone try the following:
Go to the App Store download Image resize (3.1k)
The free version has ads, try that first.

3 years this has taken me to achieve and today is the day I finally got my avatar uploaded.
