Yesterday, according to http://www.haberkktc.com/haber/kalecik- ... 56368.html the government gave the go-ahead for building work to start on a fuel depot at Kalecik, which is a few miles north of Boğaz, on the east coast of the island.
According to my father-in-law, this depot will just be for local use in that it will supply petrol stations in the north. This is not to be confused with the much bigger proposed “fuel storage terminal” further up the Karpaz at Yedikonuk – that will be (or won't as the case may be) for exporting fuel.
