It sounds like a classic sign that the battery might be on the way out,
I got the battery on my iphone replaced in Alsancak, if that's near, for about 200 TL?
He did it while I waited, so no sending it away nonsense.

What model iPhone was it? What is the battery performance like as a result?

Over the road from Lemar/The Golden Lady. There is a block of shops with The Soulist in it. It’s an electrical shop on the right as you look. Can’t think of the name of it but it’s got phones and watches in the window.

Its a job you can get done in the UK. As long as someone has a battery and knows what they are doing takes about 15 minutes.

I once took an iPhone apart watching a YouTube video on how to repair it…. it never worked again.
