Travel after Vaccination

Given the legal status of NCYP, I was curious if anyone has travelled abroad (i.e. outside of Cyprus) with a certificate of vaccination from NCYP and was the certificate accepted by the country you were visiting?
I remember flying to Dubai just before covid began, looking to hire a car with AVIS and all the other big rental firms not accepting my NCYP driving license. Had left my UK one at home, completely forgot it wasnt in my wallet as here we use the NCYP one.
Given that experience, curious to see whether or the NCYP vaccination certificate or card etc will be accepted as proof of vaccination by the country you visit?

Not really helpful waddo. Im sure you can find another topic to spam if you are that bored.
For those who travel, and given this is an expat forum its a very relevant question to see which countries outside of Turkey, ROC and Pakistan will accept either a PCR test or vaccination certificate from North Cyprus when travelling, if any at all.

Oh dear, Phantomfixer, I don't think ALL UK car rental companies accept KKTC DL's. Its our experience that all won't. Smaller companies who are perhaps not aware just see the word Cyprus and have been absolutely fine. Sadly, a few of the more "aware" checked on their computers (who said NO!!). It was no problem because we carried UK licences. I think it would be a mistake to automatically assume that a KKTC licence is accepted.

I can say when I was in dubai they all refused, both at the airport and there were two inside the Mall of the Emrites. They checked the license on their database and showed pictures of a Cypriot license they are allowed to accept and of a Turkish one they accept. North cyprus was not on their database and hence no picture of a license.
