Probably passing on info that most people know anyway. Tried moving money from my UK bank to here. Done it before with success several years ago. Using my banks app on my tablet, entered all the details at my Credit West Bank with the aid of staff.There we hit a brick wall when it sent me a four didget number that I had to send back using the call to my phone from my UK bank. Kept getting a message saying I was not answering the call from the UK bank. I never got a call. After talks with my UK bank it was said that the app just does not always work with some countries. What was suggested and worked that rather than use the app go direct to the uk bank, www. Etc, etc. This worked great and was far easier than using the app. We wondered if Turkcell saw the call as spam and blocked it, something that I will sort out with them

It helps to keep a UK mobile number going for issues like this.
