Just been refused entry into Merit Royal casino by a "heavy " on the door, when asked he stated " Turkish only " . Do this mean residents only, or only Turkish ?
Thought casinos were opened on 10th June.

Must be mainlanders only, as locals are not allowed. Only other reason, was you wearing shorts and/or slip flops/sliders ???

No I was dressed appropriately, just found out Crystal Cove is open, so a sign saying this would have been extremely helpful, joined up thinking they do not do.

It's not because it's for these 3 day trips from turkey and they have to be quarantined and stay in the hotel ?

Maybe if they are limited as to how many they can cater to maybe they are being selective as in only allowing in known regular players from the mainland. I have little doubt if you pulled out a wad of $5000 you’d become an instant honoury Turk.

Ladies, have a decent hair do, wear your best perfume and a decent frock, plus men wear a decent jacket and tie and I promise you you will get in. Never ask permission just walk straight through as if you own the place. Works every time.

As mentioned above a number of the hotels are operating under the ‘closed tourism system’ i.e. charter flights from Turkey for 3/4 day stay whereas the guests cannot leave the hotel nor any people come in from outside. I know at least one of the Merits if not all & Palm Beach are doing this.
I am guessing maybe that the doorman did not speak enough English to explain this to you?
