Our numbers are rising, at present the delta variant has not been detected but the vaccine that has been widely given here is not effective against it.
Does it mean that anyone booked to go to the UK via the south has to isolate in a government approved hotel?

It will do IF UK categorise the South as red, was hoping to go next month but not if hotel quarantine is required.

ROC is on the EU red list but remains amber on the UK list - thank God for Brexit.
I hope everyone holds their nerve and allows the double vaccinated to travel freely.

I have asked the question elsewhere about whether the Delta variant has been detected here and no one seems to know. It has been detected in Turkey. How do you know it has not been detected? Is that just because it has not been mentioned officially?

If we are allowed to travel quarantine free to the UK will they recognise or accept the Sinovac jab and the TRNC vaccination card?

Sinovac has not been approved by the MRHA and until the UK relaxes quarantine rules nobody knows the answer to that question.

To avoid quarantine on entry /re-entry to UK you need to have been vaccinated in the UK for quarantine entry from amber country
So if you had Astra zenica or Pfizer vaccine administered in Germany France or Poland RoC for example and you are entering from an Amber country its quarantine at home for ten days
