We are flying to Antalya for a few days in September , is it relatively easy to just buy a ticket these days and jump on the ferry over to Girne ?

There are no ferries from Antalya or Alanya, the only place with high speed is Tasacu, this is a 5 to 6 hr bus journey. If the high speed is not running it is a overnight sail on a very old boat and you will still have to produce a PCR test and go to quarantine. I am on holiday in Turkey from Girne at the moment.

only 1 bus and that is to Mersin, ask the driver to put you off in Tasacu.
Go to Akgunlar ferry boat office in the town. There may be a high speed running. If not try to book a cabin as they are very clean that's on the car ferry. The number is tasacu +903247414033 they speak English to a fashion. Best of luck.
We have lived in Cyprus for 30yrs and have been coming to Turkey for the last 18 yes.

Denis1 there is no quarantine for those with two injections, we traveled a week ago. the ticket office at girne port check everything before they issue the tickets. that is the last check till you reach Tasacu.

Thank Keith, just a short visit this year as they are only giving the car 90 days instead of the normal 180.
We are going to fly next year.
