Tatar offered the RoC assistance, they said they would “Consider” the offer. No further information available and that was on Saturday - what hope has the North got of ever achieving any peace agreement with a country that would rather burn than accept help?
I give up!

I would not be surprised if Anastasiades was playing a fiddle as his country burned.

From BBC News report -
"President Nicos Anastasiades described the fire as "a tragedy".
In a tweet on Sunday, he said it was "the largest fire since 1974" - referring to the year Cyprus was divided following a Turkish invasion - and had caused loss of life.....

Hi Jofra
Invasion ? intervention would be a better terminology

Strange - I always thought that the largest fire in Cyprus was in 1995??? But then I guess that the North did not qualify as being Cyprus then. There have been many fires in the South since 1974 and the intervention but lets not bother about them shall we?

As usual the ROC government for political reasons doesn't want help from the TRNC or Turkey. Fine, let 'em burn.
God's wrath for being such pratts?
