With UK now a 'red' country as of this week . but as i understand seemingly no quarantine for arrivals !
What is the procedure/documentation etc for someone arriving here in the North from UK via Larnaca ?

We arrived from a red country to Larnaka a few weeks ago, albeit, not UK.

Make sure you do Cyprus Flight Pass and print it out. You need a pcr to cross the border, so do that and print it out. We had multiple copies of everything, just in case. If you have a vaccination certificate, have that printed out too and also, if you are a hone owner, proof of that too.

We usually hire a car from the south, but this time around we used a trnc taxi to avoid complications, and glad we choose this option as having someone at the border with us who could speak English / Turkish was useful.

I thought the rules had changed and that UK citizens that were vaccinated did not have to quarantine. However, my wife read of an issue on a Facebook group where some people had been refused to board the plane until they had preordered the quarantine wristband… so not sure what that was about.

Having said that, the rules are constantly changing. It’s difficult to keep up with them. One website that we used to get info was from info north Cyprus.

Hope this is of some help.

Some people have put down the south, some people have put down the north. Both have worked.

In Larnaca, they were more bothered by the colour code on the front sheet of the Cyprus flight pass document. We were blue as had been double vaccinated. Not sure what colour indicates that you haven’t, but that’s what they seemed to be looking for. Vaccinated people one way, unvaccinated, another.

Leading up the day of the flight, we were quite nervous. However, it all went very smoothly in the end.
