I am not sure if there is a correct section but as I see several people posting who knew my Father, I would like them to know he passed away Saturday 10th July, his 92nd birthday would of been on Monday. still very raw but he had a good innings and only started to fail after his 90th birthday, one of the very few occasions I have actually left the island.

Suzanne and Dad are the reason why Gary and I came here to make a new life for ourselves, must admit very challenging at times! Girne high street being 2 way and i still refer to the top road as the bypass!

Over the years they introduced us to several people
Audrey ,Rikki (Anne), Barbara and Graham .Mark and Necla,Hanna and Axel
Mo from the courtyard along with Geraldine, Werner , Jeff and Barbara
Rita, I have a lovely picture of Dad and I sat at the Rocks, unfortunately at the printers being used for our 25th anniversary
Ercan and family Tree of Idleness
Catherine and Ali Azra Claire
Paul, Ozzie, Deirdre from Bellapais along with lots of people from Bellapais and Karmi
KAR and Margaret , Villa Suzanne the cat neutering programme!
and I am sure there were many more but maybe he is catching up with them now
Dad I miss you but I have lots of memories of you x

I didn't know your Dad snd1966 but a picture paints a thousand words. I know he was the best Dad in the world, just like mine, so I know where you are right now. Thoughts are with you and your family.

So sorry to hear of your dad passing away, smart and good looking chap. He was one of the early ones who came to Rita on the Rocks, great times. God bless you and family.

Thank you MnM, he had a quick wit and sometimes totally misunderstood but he had a great sense of humour and I grew up in in an environment of stick and stones may break my bones...... And laugh at yourself
And Rocking , you introduced me to brandy sours , as you say great times but running a business I bet you had his advice from a Bank Manager view, he could never help but give it even when you did not want to hear it
