Footballers wages are crazy.

Its no wonder that a UK club had over half of its tickets for a match returned because they cost £60 each almost double to what they would of cost in 2010, but I suppose when a player has just been offered £90,000pw you must charge these extortionate prices.
I really don't understand how people can afford to go to a match with the family now that times in the uk are quite hard, and I would say that footballers must be amongst the only people that never take a pay cut.

So right Solicit. Even worse is the entertainment industry where (often untalented) people can earn more in a month than those in vital jobs (such as medical, police etc.) can hope to get ina lifetime. A very warped sense if values.

Frank Lampard has told Chelsea he will take a £100,000/a-week pay cut to stay at the club, but Blues owner Roman Abramovich insists the midfielder will leave when his contract expires in the summer.

So what wages has been getting if he can take a £100k pay cut.
I suppose he is getting on a bit now so is probably worried about his next wage.......not I think.
I wish now my parents had bought me a pair of football boots when I was 4 instead of a bike, although I never earned any money with that either.

I heard on radio after the Bradford City v Aston Villa match the other night that one of the Bradford players earns a whooping ...£200 a week....

I think these obscene wages are mainly confined to the Premiership.
