Have arrived back after 2 years need new Aircon units. Which are the best brands to buy. Where to buy and how much for 12000 and 18000 am I looking at.
Great to be back anyone in the UK reading this jump on a plane all the hassle well worth it.

I,ve just replaced my 14 year old units with Bosch from Domart probably not the cheapest place but the workers are the cleanest I,ve ever had they tidied up swept up and took every thing away.

The very best brand is Daikin.

What is important is after sales support.... I cannot mention the company on here cos we are not allowed...but I will be looking somewhere else for future needs <<Moderated>>.

That is the problem with not being allowed to mention faults with a business, every air con business in that area is now tarred with the same brush.
Best to look in a different area.

Have always been told that Daikin are the very best, sadly never been able to afford them.

Are Daikin available here in the north please?

Lefkosa I believe. I would try googling Daikin TRNC/north Cyprus something should come up.

Daikin now use the brand name "airfel". They are a good price but that will now depend on the the change in import duty which I believe has been increased. They are Turkish made units and are good inverters. PM me for the company I used who have fitted 2 where I live.

Daikin bought out airfel a number of years ago, they acquired the name. . However you can still buy Daikin named products, but you can also buy airfel products all under the one brand. A bit like Volkswagen buying Skoda, same company totally different product.

I bought some Airfel fromTektan 3 years ago seem to run ok increased the BTU for the lounge good in winter warm cool in summer not too expensive just a swallow

My Skoda has the Golf the Golf 1 litre Turbo Supercharged injection with the same DSG auto box its the same floor pan as the golf but bigger body than the golf
The vW model is the same sports models latest tec Audi etc Bugatti the filtered down to VW Skoda Seat
By the time it gets to Skoda Seat the technology should be bullet proof .
Doesn't always work son had the accelerator cable problem that is common to 2017 and earlier VW group £300 or warranty if you know the fault
