Turkey added to UK recognised countries

As the title suggest from 0400 on 11th October Turkey has been added to the UK government’s recognised countries.
I KNOW this doesn’t help travellers vaccinated in the TRNC but maybe a step in the right direction and hope for the near future.
The trouble is, now we are quite isolated as we are not recognised, Cyprus who have their own proof of vaccination are recognised and now Turkey who have their own proof of vaccination.
If our proof of vaccination could be incorporated into the Turkey one that would be good, but I won’t hold my breath.
