We are here for short while. My partner want to get a MRI scan done maybe at the Near East hospital. Can he just walk in or is an appointment needed. Thanks in anticipation

we've have mri scans done at Suat Gunsel hospital, but we had to make an appointment through Dr. Turk first, have never just made an appointment for MRI scan direct. Haven't done it at Near East though.

I'm not sure you can go direct either, have used Letam in Lefkoşa opposite the state hospital but always had a referral.

You could try calling Kamiloglu Hospital in Girne, there is an English lady called Jenny who may be able to advise. I think they have MRI. Website: https://kamilogluhastanesi.com/

Had MRI scan at Suat Gunsel hospital as part of a chest problem, I am sure you can just go speak to receptionist and make appointment with doctor and have MRI, if you go take your passport

Some time ago I asked at Dr Suat (NEU) hospital for an MRI scan. If I remember correctly I had it the next day. Don't know what the situation is now, but don't suppose its changed much. If you are a member of the BRS, let them see your card for a discount and take your passport if its the first time you have been.

Take the bull by the horns. Walk into Dr Suat and ask at reception if you can have an MRI scan asap. That what I did, they can only say no but make sure you have passport with you. You have nothing to lose. You should be handed a DVD within a short while.
