The residency dept is closed today, don't know why but just been down there, what is the problem?

It seems Diehard that the Immigration Dept in Lefkosa is regularly closed. Anyone in that huge building who proves positive for Covid and they all go home..full pay and several days of quarantine. Trying to phone them or e mailing them is useless. Any query about a Residency application currently and you might as well whistle in the air. Great idea to cancel the 'gentleman's agreement'??? Girne Police Station at 10 am this morning was like 'armgeddon' !! Just can't get a problem with an online application sorted..telephone, no answer......e mail .where is an e mail address for the Immigration Dept ?? Can't get an appointment as noone answers the phone!! Love the sun and most of the people but after approaching 20 years the deteriorisation of the TRNC is really obvious.

I booked an appointment yesterday the first available one showed 8th November.
Today they could be marching over promises the government has made to the unions.
Looking how long everyone is waiting the money to be collected must be mounting too.
