I believe on entry at Ercan it is standard to be issued a 30 day visa unless you are a property owner or have residency. Is there a way to extend this without having to return to the UK and then fly out again, for example take a return flight to say Turkey or Albania?
Does anyone have experience of getting round this limitation please?

You need to go to Police Headquarters in Lefkoşa now, see below. The advice is to go well in advance of your visa running out.

Thanks for that info we will need it in February if we only get 30 days on arrival in January.

When you arrive and are staying more than 30 days, just ask tell border official, I am sure they will oblige and give 60 or 90 days.

Further to Soner's post. If you have booked a stay of over 30 days at a hotel/rental, have a copy of proof with you to show at Ercan.

Would only give us 30 days a Pile Crossing, did says we had a villa here but said if u want longer bring your paperwork next time. Neighbour came across and they said 90 days NO problem if u own a property! So must depend on the officer at the time
