Did it last week driver took us to Nicosia 10:30 at night usually via Pile

Then to TRNC windows passports Ada pass plus vaccine cert driver us still in the back of taxi
Driver goes 20 yds up the road pulls onto the left we get out not got our passports
Walk back to the offices other side of the road little office
Took our email address did the nasal swabs
The ask us for 8 euro for the two tests I asked to pay in tl so 80 tl
We were then on our way
hope it helps

We are flying into Ercan next week (double vaccinated)
Am i correct in understanding we don't need a pre departure test and we can get one at Ercan if required?

Thanks Soner
I have just completed my Adapass , it asks for payment for the on arrival test as part of the procedure.
Very straight forward and understandable (unlike UK PLF)
Well done TRNC !

Thanks Soner…
Relative paid online for antigen test…checked banking account online …yes showed up on bank transactions…re proof of payment…
I’m wondering if it’s best waiting to pay for tests at the border..in the hope no antigen test is needed for the fully vaccinated…
Any one know ?

I believe they are also testing fully vaccinated people that fly in, that is why they have the payment system online when filling in the Travel AdaPass.

Carnage at Ercan last night.
Heathrow was fine, just show your vaccine cert and Adapass at check-in. By the gate in Istanbul is s desk where they again check your vaccine cert and Adapass.
On the plane you are given a form to fill out that is practically the same as the details on your Adapass.
At Ercan chaos ensued. It seems their is one queue if you have had a PCR test, one to pay for an antigen test and another to get the test.
No decent signage or explanation, just people running about like headless chickens.
We had our antigen test with lots of shuffling of paper, and told after about five minutes we could go. Passport control next and they wanted to see the new form which now had a bar code on it.
Through customs and then just as you get almost outside a police check who want to see your Adapass and passport (i think)
Only about 30 minutes to get through but a lie down in a dark room is needed afterwards
