The weather is awfull our end this morning , raining and windy .

What a shame , we love our sunday trip to see you girls and grab a bargain .Of all the times we have been coming to your bootfair this is the first time rain has stopped us .

No bacon buttie this week

Hi Carol and Mick, we both missed you both, but to be honest the wind was awful here, all be it did not rain at all, some stall holder's turned up, and a lot of buyers, so Mo being Mo supplied them all with hot tea and coffee, some hung about till 11 for there chat and buttie, other's left around 9 when it was pretty obvious the wind was stopping play, it was so bad here last night our scaffold got blown over straight on to Satellite Dish hence no TV today, oh well there is a lot worse going on in the world, and as usual we braved out the boot fair, but a little mouse told me it will be fine next Sunday and the sun will shine, so you will both have to have a Barbie Special to make up for today xx

I am glad you didnt get the rain , I think we must of got yours cos the heavens just seemed to open here . That wind , its so stronge and seems to cut right thro your clothes brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, shame about the tv but at least no one was hurt .

Well done Mo, Barbie and Kevin for turning out despite the high wind this morning. A devoted team to the traditional Car Boot Sale here in the North.
Thank you Mo for the lovely hot cup of coffee, on the house, which helped warm me up.
Good luck Barbie and Kevin with getting the Sky disc repaired back to working order. Hopefully, the weather will be kinder on us all next week!

sorry guys, but this failure was in bed when it started to chuck it down, so I put the electric blanket on cos I was cold, and stayed there another half an hour. But I was punished for not coming, because my computer was an absolute **********. Missed your happy faces, but maynext week!

Does anyone do anything like tools, specifically old pocket knives or similar, on a regular basis? I've got a bit of a collection and am always looking for old Lapta made pocket/pen knives that were considered so great before 74.

Do not worry smiler, this is one carboot that provides everything. Some days you even get free entertainment, some unintentional like Barb walking through the rough car park in 5 inch heels!!!

As an example table top may be a door on a tressle,so bring a blanket to make your stall look pretty!! Depending on how much stuff you want to display some take an extra small side table or a hanging rail for clothes but to use those will depend on your pitch and how busy the place is. Best bet if you have the chance is to go along and take a look then you know what you will need.

You will be made welcome by Mo and Barb and there slave Kevin, plus chat to the other sellers. Then grab a cuppa and a butty. As I said, everything is there. Good Luck!

I've been before as a customer but couldn't remember if tables were available. I'm not sure when we'll be down but hopefully in the next couple of weeks

that was impromptu the week before. sorry. But you never know, maybe Ozlem could be persuaded to have another go. But if you are interested in her Zumba classes, then you can phone 0533 884 2295 for further details.

Also she has booked a boot this Sunday, so you can see her there, she does a couple of displays during boot fair, her zumba classes are held at Sula Centre, above Cafe Britain, Alsancak, but would prob be best if you popped down the boot fair on Sunday and spoke to her for full details, she also has a boot full of nearly new clothes in excellent condition for you to browse while you chat, you never know what is going to turn up at the Traditional Car Boot Sale, every week is different, the only same is there is always bargains to be had!
